To join ASVA as a student of Auburn University, you must both pay your dues here and join the organization on the AUInvolve website.

To join ASVA as a military family member, alumni, community member, university faculty or university staff, you only have to pay your dues here. You do not have to register with AUInvolve.

Shaefer Dobbratz

Shaefer Dobbratz is a senior at Auburn University graduating in Spring of 2026 with a Bachelor of Science in Professional Flight. Shaefer carries a passion and determination to help serve all veterans in the Auburn community while pursuing his higher education. He has been a member of the ASVA for one year and is an active volunteer in the organization. 

“The ASVA has provided me with a wide range of resources that have significantly contributed to my academic success at Auburn University. As a non-traditional student, it can sometimes feel isolating, but the ASVA has connected me with others who share similar experiences. Through this organization, I’ve built a strong support system and study network, especially among other Pro Flight students, which has helped me stay motivated and focused throughout my journey.”
